Downloading your e-book
Having made your purchase you should be returned to an acknowledgment page which reviews your purchase details. Click the download link. The next page will display the name of the item(s) you have purchased and a "download" button will appear next to, or immediately below, each purchased item.
Click the download button for your item(s). This will open up a dialog asking you where you want to save the download file. Save it on your hard drive to a location of your choice. Note that you may receive a warning message suggesting that .exe files can be harmful. This is a normal warning and is not cause for concern.
Installing your e-book
To install the downloaded file, locate it on your hard drive (it should be called nnnn.exe where nnnn is the e-book name)
and double click the file. A dialog should appear asking you where you would like to save the installed e-book
(you may first receive a warning message sayig 'The publisher cannot be verified'.
This is a normal warning and is not cause for concern.)
Type in a location of your choice and click 'unzip'.
Opening your e-book (pdf e-books only)
To open your pdf e-book, locate it on your hard drive (it should be called nnnn.pdf where nnnn is the e-book name) and double click to open. You will be prompted to enter the password for the e-book which was sent to you in the confirmation email when you made the purchase. The e-book should open automatically. ** IMPORTANT NOTE ** In order to read .pdf
files you need to have pdf reader software such as Adobe Acrobat Reader (TM) installed on your system. If you do not, click here to be taken to the Adobe site where you can download the reader free of charge.
Troubleshooting
The e-book webpages didn't display properly or crashed
Check that the Internet browser you are using allows the execution of javascript on your computer (see manufacturer's documentation for details). If this does not resolve the problem,the browser itself may not be compatible with the e-books system.
The ipnosis e-books web site has been tested on the following Internet browsers:-
Internet Explorer v7.0.5730.11
Netscape v7.2
Mozilla Firefox v3.0.1
Safari v3.1.2
Opera v9.52
If you are using an older version of one of these browsers, the pages may not display properly. Download the latest version of your browser and try again.
If you are using a different browser or if you are using any of the above browsers at the above or more recent versions, please email us at admin@ipnosis.com for support.
The download did not complete properly or I need to download the e-book again
There are various reasons why a download does not complete, for example, if the Internet connection is interrupted or if the connection with the ipnosis server is off-line. It may also be that you wish to install your e-book on a new computer. In order to access the download screen for your purchase(s) again, Click the button below and follow the download and installation instructions shown above.
I have lost the password to open my e-book
Click the retrieve button below. You will be sent another email with the passwords for your purchase(s). There is no need in this instance to download the e-book again.
I ordered the wrong e-book or the wrong quantity
Please email us for support at admin@ipnosis.com providing details of your purchase and intended purchase. Please allow up to 48 hours for a response.
I cannot print or copy my e-book or sections of my e-book
ipnosis e-books are copy protected to prevent unlawful distribution. Unfortunately this means that it is not possible to print or copy from the e-book.
Other Problems
Please email us for support at admin@ipnosis.com providing details of your purchase and the problem you are encountering. Include details of the Internet browser and version number you are using
(this can be found by selecting 'About' from the 'help' menu of the browser. Please allow up to 48 hours for a response.
